    The volume of the sphere = (4πr³) / 3

    Thus, the increase in size would increase the volume (r³) more as compared to the increase in surface area (r²).

    The ratio of surface area to volume would decrease due to which the diffusion rate would not be efficient enough to distribute the essential elements throughout the volume of the cell.

    The cell would not be able to survive.
