    Explanation:

Predation and parasitism both describe a form of nutritional relationship between two living organisms.

Predation is a term used to describe a nutritional relationship between two organism in which one, the predator, feeds on the other, the prey. The predator are usually of a larger size and more powerful than the prey.

On the other hand, parasitism on the other hand refers to a nutritional relationship between two organism in which one, the parasite, lives on the other, the host, and obtain all its necessary food requirement from the host. This time around, parasites are usually smaller than the host.

Both predation and parasitism leads to the death of of one of the two organisms in the relationships. However, while predation requires the immediate death of the prey, the death of the host is usually gradual in parasitism.
