How could a addation or deletion of a base (A, T, C, G) in a sequence of DNA effect protein production

    A mutation can occur, so when it comes to protein production the wrong protein can be produced, the speed of protein synthesis can be sped up or reduced depending on what base is deleted and protein splicing can occur
