    The answer is C. This is mostly seen in Cichlidae family of fish, such as Tilapia. This is referred to as oral brooding. Fecundity (similar to fertility) is lower in these fish hence they’ve evolved a way to protect their fertilized eggs to ensure a higher probability of hatching.
