    All senses are connected to each other through the brain, receptors and neurons. They influence each other. For example:

    Smell influences taste (you plug your nose to lessen the flavor of bad tasting medicine).

    sight influences taste (All MnMs taste the same but we pick some colors preferentially) This also explains psychological responses to certain foods smells etc as well as the Concept of phantom pains
