What are the body's nonspecific defenses against invading pathogens

    The leukocytes (macrophages and dendritic cells) in the body

    Mucous membranes that trap foreign molecules

    Cilia that tries to push out any foreign particles

    Skin - nothing goes in unless skin is broken

    Sweat has a low pH which many things cant live on

    Low acidity in stomach (pH of 2) many thiggs can not live in such a low pH
