A player tackles an opponent with excessive force, endangering the safety of the opponent. what action should the referee take?

    Since the player has violated the rule in the ring, the referee would likely take an action of having the player who attacked the other party to be send off the ring and the person would likely be shown by the referee a red card which would signal that the player has violated a rule.
