Insulin and glucagon are similar in the fact that they are both bodily chemicals secreted from the same part of the body (the pancreas), and are both used in processing sugar. Glucagon is used to replicate sugars, and create more if possible, whereas insulin is used to absorb sugar and remove it from the bloodstream.
