If blood is in short supply, which blood type would be the most beneficial to have on hand if someone needed a blood transfusion?

    0
    Since type 0 is the universal donor and (-) negative indicates the absence of the Rh factor, I would imagine that 0 - would be the most beneficial to have on hand.
