The process of pasteurization is named after which famous French microbiologist?

    Louis Pasteur; he created the germ theory with the Swan necked flask experiment, he made many discoveries but he found out that pasteurization (ie heat milk up to a very high temperature, fast, then cool quickly) would destroy bacteria.
