How does climate change affect the ocean ecosystem?

Climate change plays a large role in ocean ecosystems. The different regions of the ocean are different temperatures. All of the animals within those certain regions live comfortably in those temperature ranges. Climate change changes the temperatures of the regions of the ocean. When these temperatures change, the animals living in those areas must either find a new area that has a comfortable, viable temperature to live in or they will die. This is extremely prevalent in the colder regions of the ocean, such as the arctic zones. Icebergs and glaciers are melting at an alarming rate, which in turn is destroying the homes of animals such as penguins, polar bears, arctic foxes, and much more. These animals have no where else to go since the arctic zones are the coldest on the planet. If their ecosystems warm to unlivable temperatures for the animals, they will die. Climate change needs more attention and is occurring at an alarming rate.
