    Human body need more protein for muscle building. When there is a good intake of protein, they are broken down into amino acids which are the building blocks in the formation of muscles. 1.3 â€" 1.8 grams of protein intake per kilogram of body weight (.6 â€".8 grams per p ound of body weight) is necessary to build muscles.
