If the water temperature in a lake drops from 25oC to 10oC, what effect is it likely to have on aquatic animals that have a high demand for dissolved oxygen?

    The aquatic animals in the lake will likely suffer greatly or possibly die from the decrease in temperature because as the temperature plummets, the oxygen molecules will stretch farther apart so there will be less oxygen in the water.
