Explain the difference between a producer, a consumer, and a decomposer

A producer is an organism that is able to provide food and other materials needed for growth and development of other organisms that consume it. These are plant based species, whether terrestrial and or aquatic. A consumer is an organism that cannot produce its own food and obtains essential nutrients and energy from the food produced by the consumer, depending on where the consumer is found, there might be a primary, secondary and or a tertiary consume r. Decomposers, are organisms, usually bacteria and other fungi that obtain their nutrients and required materials through decomposing and releasing essential materials from dead and decaying material, so that other organisms can therefore use.

Producers produce their own food so they're like a plant. A consumer eats something to survive. Examples of a consumer would be a deer or bears. A decomposer decomposes things such as a dead plant. Examples of this would be fungi or bacteria.
