Driving cars lowers the pH of the oceans by releasing CO that dissolves and forms acid in the oceans. The answer is letter C. CO is soluble in water that is why it readily reacts with sea water to form acid. Forming an acid in the ocean, lowers the dissolve oxygen and thus lowers the pH.
