    Good job eliminating option D. Option A is reversed Mitosis occurs in somatic cells and Meiosis in germ cells. Crossing over results in genetic diversity or a change in DNA, that would happen in reproduction and thus meiosis. Option A, B, and D are not the answer. Option C is correct.
