Why don't cells just use the glucose molecules to power cell activity why must they turn it into ATP

    ATP is simply the format which the body takes and is able to easily use. Think of it like a vending machine. A vending machine won't take $100 bills just as your cells can't just use the big ole glucose molecules. They have to make it into the right "currency" for your body if that makes sense
