Why rainfall soaks down unusually faster sometimes?

    Depends on the speed of the rain drop and the clothing you are wearing. If the speed of the drop is fast it soaks in faster due to laws of physics and if you are wearing a wool like clothing it soaks in faster aswell because that is how the material is made.
