    We know that 0 K = - 273 deg C, or more accurate: - 273.15 deg C (an absolute zero) : If we want to transform Celsius degrees to Kelvin, we have just to add 273 to the temperature that we have in degrees Celsius (C + 273 = K). In this case we know that person's temperature is 40 degrees C. 40 + 273 = 313 K. Answer: D) 313 K.
