1. DNA is double stranded and RNA is single stranded.
2. The sugar in RNA is ribose while in DNA is deoxyribose.
3. RNA has 4 bases (cytosine, adenine, guanine, and uracil) while DNA has also 4 bases but one base is change from RNA (adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine).
