DNA is soluble in aqueous solution but insoluble in alcohol.

DNA is soluble in water because it is polar due to its phosphate backbone that is highly charged, so this polarity makes it soluble in water as water is also polar.

And we know that like dissolves like similarly polar dissolves polar.
