In addition to pneumocystis jiroveci, a client with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (aids) also has an ulcer 4 cm in diameter on the leg. considering the client's total health status, what is the most critical concern?

    The answer to this question would be: impaired gas exchange.

    Pneumocystis jiroveci attack the lungs and cause pneumonia. Pneumonia will reduce the lungs function and might cause dyspnea or even respiratory distress in severe cases. The ulcer in the feet wouldn't kill the patient but respiratory distress would.
