In an analogy between a factory and a cell: If DNA is the superintendent and mRNA is the order to the assembly line (ribosomes), what might be the role of tRNA?

    The answer is transporter or forklift.

    tRNA is actually "transfer RNA". It carries amino acids to the ribosome for protein synthesis. So, it serves as some kind of forklift in the cell - it supplies assembly line with necessary ingredients.
