Does each cell type in the body have different genes along those chromosomes?

    Every somatic cell in your body has the same DNA and therefore the same genes.

    This is because our somatic cells go through mitosis, which is a copying of the DNA and separation of that doubled DNA into two identical daughter cells.

    If these genes were to vary, it would cause a serious problem in our bodies.
