What does metaphase look like in animals and in plants

    Metaphase is when the chromosomes line up along the metaphase plate (imaginary plate). Animals cells are round or circles and plants are square. Both look similar in metaphase and I would say the only differences are that plants have a cell plate and that animals have cleavage furrow but I don’t think you can notice that in metaphase, it’s usually during cytokinesis.
