According to the phylogenetic tree, the Eukarya, or the Eukaryotic cells, rose around 2 billion years ago, give or take a fer hundred million, from the Archaea domain. The Archaeas are single-celled organisms that belong to the Prokaryotic type, meaning that the Eukarya are more complex since they have a nucleus and build together multi-cellular organisms.
