There are many skeletal muscles in your body. For skeletal muscles to move a limb, like your arm, in either direction, the muscles must work:

    To move a limb, muscles must contract to pull, and others must relax to allow the limb to move: for example, triceps relaxing as the biceps pull the forearm up
