If a person had a disease that prevented lymphocytes from maturing, how would the immune system's response to infection change?

    They would most likely get very sick from little things. Lymphocytes are white blood cells. White blood cells are your line of defense when you get sick. If you had no line of defense simple things like a cold could have drastic effects on your health and could lead to death.
