There is a car moving 55 MPH. The car is passed by a motorcycle that is moving at 80 MPH. What is the relative speed of the motorcycle from the perspective of the moving car?

    The car is passed by a motorcycle that is moving faster than it which means both the car and the motorcycle is moving in the same direction. Since both object move in the same direction, the relative speed of the motorcycle would be slower. The speed would be:

    relative speed = motorcycle speed - car speed

    relative speed = 80MPH - 55MPH = 25MPH
