When two pure breeding parents are crossed describe how the dominant trait would be identified?

    The dominant trait would be seen in most offspring.

    essentially with two purebreed parents of different homozygous genotypes,

    you get 1 homo dom, 1 homo rec, and 2 heterozygous.

    out of four offspring, 3 in theory would exhibit the dominant trait.
