What dangers and impacts on the marine ecosystem arise from harvesting fossil fuels such as oil and methane hydrates from the oceans? What is the overall impact of harvesting non-renewable resources such as these?

    Fossil fuels are non renewable resources, so we will eventually run out. Also, it’s highly dangerous to mine, because if there’s a leak or spill, it can kill many fish and animals living under the sea.
