What is the speed, in m/s, of a wave on a cord if it has a wavelength of 4m and a period of 0.5 s?

    Velocity = frequency * wavelength

    Frequency = 1/periodic time

    = 1 / 0.5s

    =2 Hz

    Velocity = 2Hz*4m

    Velocity = 8m/s
