Can you give any adaptive significance for left or right dominance in thumb or arm crossing?

    Arm crossing is an adaptive significance which means the person is in a closed posture or he is dominant in the surroundings. This gives the person an adaptive tendency to stop thinking and hearing what people says especially when he is not comfortable with the topic.
