How does the combination of electrons, protons, and neutrons result in the neutral charge of an atom

    Okay, so if you have the same amount of each (Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons) you have a neutral atom because protons are positive and electrons are negative balancing out (because there is the same amount of protons and electrons) making it neutral and since neutrons have no charge it stays neutral.
