Which substance in the atmosphere increased in abundance as the result of photosynthetic cyanobacteria

    Atmospheric oxygen increased in abundance as the result of photosynthetic cyanobacteria. These photosynthetic bacteria fed off of atmospheric carbon dioxide and produced oxygen. Ozone also increased in abundance.
