Which combination of foods would provide all the essential amino acids? rice and beans, corn and lima beans, pea soup and bread?

    There are 8 essential amino acids that you need to obtain through food because our body cannot produce. Plant sources of aminoacids (such as rice and beans) don't have all the essential ones but lack one or more (that's called the limiting amino acid). That's why when they are combined they complete each other. T he amino acids the rice has, the beans may not have.
