    He given species with bigger beaks that enable them to crack hard nuts tend to survive under drought conditions, while finches with smaller breaks make a comeback during the years.

    1. His Research showed that the Finch's were able to adapt to there new environment.

    2. Grant showed that, with the data he collected, that bird beaks being different shapes on different islands attributed to the source of food the birds ate. He also thought that this would happen is a shorter amount of time than Darwin.

    3. All plants and animals that are now native to the islands must have arrived at the islands originally through some form of long-distance dispersal. The first method is by air in the form of flying or being blown by the wind, and the second method is by sea while swimming or floating, sometimes with the aid of rafts of tangled vegetation. The animals have also aged and become older or have died and left their children to stand in their place.
