Why might scientists be interested in making transgenic organisms?

Transgenic organism is one of the organisms that can light dark places. They are able to produce that are scientifically done and can be beneficial to many. Many are hoping if these organisms are successful, they will be able to create medium to transfer a foreign DNA towards another host.
