    The transitional fossils associated with whale evolution include many characteristics that lead scientists to their conclusions today. Millions of fossils are found in layers and layers of rock and are all connected in some way. The layering of the rock has also been proof of evolution over time. All fossils are said to be puzzle pieces to the originality of animals. Some of these fossils happen to be in relations with whales.
