    This increase in the amount of nitrous oxide would result in an increase in the greenhouse effect. Nitrous oxide is considered a greenhouse gas and is known as one who has the longest lifetime in the atmosphere. Nitrous oxide also contributes to the greenhouse effect just like carbon dioxide.
