Interphase is the first 3 processes where the cell matures, grows, and carries out its life functions. This process is followed by mitosis or the nuclear division and cytokinesis or the physical process where a parent cell is divided into two daughter cells. Every eukaryotic cell has a repeating set of occurrences which make up every cell’s life known as cell cycle. When interphase come to an error before cell division, major problem can happen in the replication of DNA which can bring mutation. Mutation is a permanent damage of the DNA sequence of the genome due to the error in the process of DNA replication.
