Tasmanian devil and wolverines are both thick bodied predators with crushing teeth and similar food sources, but are not related (answer D) This is because in convergent evolution organisms have different origin but have similar traits as result of having adopted similar environment. Both Tasmanian devil and wolverines have similar trait but they are related.

    D) Tasmanian devil and wolverines are both thick bodied predators with crushing teeth and similar food sources, but they are not at all related

Convergent evolution describes the process by which species with very different evolutionary histories (no recent common ancestor) develop similar traits due to the advantages that these traits provide. One example is aquatic mammals, such as dolphins, developing a body type similar to fish, due to the advantages that this body type provides for moving through the water.
