    The human population grows at 1.09% on yearly basis, that accounts for 83 million people plus on the planet each year. On average every woman has 2.5 children (which is for the whole life).

    The mice reproduce throughout the whole year, they have 5-10 litters per year (lets take an average of 8 for a clear number), and the average litter is consisted of 6-8 young (lets take an average of 7). On average a female can breed after 10 weeks old, and gives birth in about 20 days.

    So if there's only 2 mice, a male and female, they will have 56 young in a year (average). Lets say half are females, by the times that they will get litters they'll have less young but comes at a total of a bout 480 young, from them, and from their litters about 2300 more, so in a year that'll be around 2838, which is 1419% increase. With that rate by the end of the fourth year, there will be around 8 trillion mice if let totally undisturbed and will by far have surpassed the human population which will be around 8 billion.
