When organisms attempt to use the same resources

Competition is the term used when organism attempt to use the same resources. The main issue here is limited availability of resources. Due to the "limitation" of resources, all organisms in competition suffer a loss as no organism will gain a sufficient amount of resource that is needed for survival, reproduction or growth.
