Ans: One leading strand will be required for the complete replication of the DNA strand.

During DNA replication, two strands of double helical DNA run in opposite direction and the synthesis of two new strands at the replication fork would require one strand will be synthesized in 5-3’direction while the other strands will synthesized in opposite direction in 3’-5’ direction. However, one leading strand will be required for the complete replication of the DNA strand.
