What is the difference between amoeba and paramecium? s?

    Paramecium belong to the group of ciliates where they grow hair-like organelles in order to move while an amoeba belongs to the sarcodine family which it forms pseudopods to move. The former thrives in fresh water while the amoeba in the water.
