    In the isolation of green fluorescent program from other bacterial protein, the lysozyme enzymatically digest the bacterial cell wall in order to deteriorate the cell by allowing the water to expand and break the cell wall. Meanwhile, the freezing of the cell will cause the bacterial cytoplasm to expand and thus rupturing the weakened cell wall.
