If a sample of dna contains 36% thymine, how much guanine would you find?

    14% of guanine because thymine pairs with adenine in a 1:1 ratio so, there is also 36% of adenine. That makes 72%, the 28% you have left, you divide it by 2 to have equal amounts of guanine and cytosine.
