The Paramecium aurelia seemed to aggressively take up more space with the numbersrapidly increasing too. For the aurelia, it continued to grow at a slower pace all the wayup to day 14. The aurelia eventually took up the entire space by day 14 forcing thecaudatum completely out. Overall, the caudatum seemed to level off earlier than theaurelia and never reached the same numbers of the aurelia. The aurelia was the better ofthe two in competing for resources and seemed to be more opportunistic regarding theavailable resource. To me, this experiment demonstrated the efficiency of the aurelia using its resource
