Why do consumers benefit from free trade and the resulting competition between businesses?

    The answer for this question is: Competition tends to drive down prices and improve quality

    When free trade exist, every businesses must heavily compete in order to win the customers' favor.

    In order to obtain the favor, a couple of things that they could do are lowering their price in comparison to their competitor and improve the products that they made.
